Biography

Early Life:
Son of Smt. Pratibha Singh, MP, Lok Sabha, PC.Mandi and Sh. Virbhadra Singh, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Mr.Vikramaditya Singh was born on October 17, 1989. Sh. Virbhadra Ji’s political ideology and public commitment have played a major role in Mr.Vikramaditya’s formative years, thus having a significant impact his own political principles.

Education:
After finishing his schooling from Bishop Cotton School, Shimla, Mr. Vikramaditya went to Delhi University pursue his graduate and post-graduate degrees in B.A. (Hons) and M.A. (Hons) in History from Hansraj College and St.Stephens College respectively.

Political Career:
The completion of his academic degrees marked the start of Mr. Vikramaditya’s political journey and association with Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee. Mr. Vikramaditya has been serving as the President of Himachal Pradesh Youth Congress since 2013. Additional posts held by him include President of Himachal Pradesh Sports, Cultural & Environmental Association (2011 – present) and Himachal Pradesh State Rifle Association (2013 – present).

Life Outside Politics:
When he is not occupied with his multifarious political projects, Mr.Vikramaditya likes to indulge himself in adventure tourism. Furthermore, Mr.Vikramaditya is an avid cyclist and an ardent rifle shooter. He has also represented Himachal Pradesh at the national level and has even won a bronze medal at trap shooting competition. Additionally, Mr.Vikramaditya presently runs a non-governmental organization called the Himachal Pradesh Sports, Culture and Environment Association (HPSCEA).
